All the artwork in the Installation was inspired by research undertaken for my Dissertation, The Intersection of Age, Gender and Menopause: An Analysis of its Representation in Art and Culture. Exploring themes on the duality of invisibility and hypervisibility, stereotypes, fear and the societal pressure that many mid-life women feel.
