Lost. The Seven Ages of Woman

This piece is deeply personal to me. In my first term at Leith School of Art my Mum died and in the month that followed that loss, ‘Lost. The Seven Ages of Woman’ was created. A multi-media book of mark making that drew on Japanese aesthetics and symbolism to celebrate the life and relationship between mother and daughter. Extracts of my sketchbook have also been included.
